| Sacramento Valley Senior Amateur | 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM | The Sacramento Golf Council and the Haggin Oaks Team are excited to host the Sacramento Valley Senior Amateur (SVSA) at the classic Alister Mackenzie GC @ Haggin Oaks on Tuesday & Wednesday, June 29th & 30th, 2021. The SVSA is open to male amateur golfers 55 and older and is designed for the "Top Senior Amateur Golfers in the West" with the following flights. All play will be at Gross Scores with prizes for each flight. Flight Age Index Requirement Senior Flight 55+ Maximum Index of 9.4 Super Senior Flight 65+ Maximum Index of 11.4 Legends Flight 72+ All indexes welcome The $170 Entry Fee includes green fees on both days, tee prize, range balls, and awards. Players wishing to rent a cart will be able to do so in the pro shop for a $16 Cart Fee. All play will be in groups of three to ensure a proper pace of play. $20 practice rounds will be available for contestants afternoon the 7 days prior to the event. Gift Cards will be awarded to roughly the top 30% of each flight. The competition will be stroke play over 36 holes (18 holes each day). Tee times will begin at 9:00 am on June 29th and 7:00 am on June 30th. Pairings will be based on Flight and index. Wednesday tee times will be repaired based on first-round scores. The players with the lowest gross total score in each division will be declared the champion of their respective flight. If a tie occurs for any of the three flights, a sudden victory playoff will commence immediately the following play from the 1st tee. The Championship will be conducted using the Golf Genius Software, including communication, pairings, and scoring. The entry deadline is June 20, 2021. There will be no refunds after this date. Withdrawals prior to the entry deadline will be assessed a $10 cancellation fee. For out-of-town players needing accommodations, we have arranged for a group rate at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott at their Cal Expo location - about a five-minute drive from the golf course.
