| Battle at the Butte | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | The 2016 Battle at the Butte will take place August 27-28, 2016 at Black Butte Ranch. This new format consists of a 36-hole, two-person team competition. Team champions will be crowned in gross and net divisions - Open, Senior, Women - along with great tee prizes, lunch, a fantastic awards BBQ and of course the unbeatable scenery that makes Black Butte Ranch such an amazing golf destination Event Schedule: Saturday, August 27 8 -10 am (tee times) Round One - Big Meadow Golf Course - Best Ball Coffee & Pastries provided, plus a lunch voucher for Robert's Pub Sunday, August 28 8:30 am (shotgun) Round Two - Glaze Meadow Golf Course - Scramble Hosted BBQ lunch and awards following play Entry Fee: $450 per team Register online!! Your World Am tournament fee includes: 72 holes of net, stroke tournament play on a different course each day. Entrance each evening to the World's Largest 19th Hole for players, one guest and children 20 and under. Nightly activities in the World's Largest 19th Hole include: - Heavy hors d'oeuvres provided by leading restaurants in Myrtle Beach. - Open bar including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. - Golf exhibit that includes tournament sponsors, emerging golf products and local businesses. - Live music and special guest speakers in the "World Am Live" ballroom. - Golf games, activities and indoor golf club demo. - Instruction provided by leading golf instructors. Every participant will be eligible for over $25,000 in random drawing prizes on site at the 19th Hole. Top players in each flight receive a trophy and Gift Card. Daily low net, long drive, closest-to-the-pin, closest-to-the-line, and hole-in-ones also share the spoils of victory. Six Flight Divisions (assigned by handicap index): - Men (49 & Under) - Senior Men (50-59) - Mid Senior Men (60-69) - Super Senior Men (70+) - Women -*NEW* Gross (separate championship) Flights will consist of about 48 people. Each course will host 2 flights per day (approximately 96 players per course). Coffee, bagels & doughnuts are provided at tournament golf courses each day.
