| PATRIOT GOLF DAY AT THE HOME COURSE | 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM | 2015 will be the 5th year that The Home Course has participated in Patriot Golf Day events. Patriot Golf Day was created as a fundraiser for the Folds of Honor Foundation to assist families who've had a family member killed in military action. There are two ways that you can help this cause at The Home Course. 1. Play golf between now and September 9 and purchase a $20 raffle ticket when you check in. All of the proceeds will go to the Folds of Honor Foundation. Your raffle ticket will enter you into a drawing for a chance to win a brand new rigged up golf cart. You can view last year's golf cart here. 2. Play The Home Course on Labor Day weekend (September 5 - 7). A $10 donation gets you into our closest to the pin competition on holes 4, 6 and 12. Each day's winners will win a foursome of golf with carts. A $20 donation will allow you to participate in the closest to the pin competitions on hole 14 in addition to holes 4, 6 and 12. The winner of the competition on #14 will receive 1/2 green fees for the 2016 golf season! The Home Course has raised about $8500 since the fundraiser was created. We thank all of the golfers who have donated during that time. We especially thank all of the people who are serving or have served our country! |
