| 56th Annual Fort Lewis Amateur Golf Tournament | 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM | Eagles Pride Golf Course at Joint Base Lewis-McChord Competition: 36 Hole stroke play. Gross & Net. ***Senior Division to all competitors who have reached their 50th birthday by 2 May 2014*** Eligibility: Open to amateur golfers that have an up-to-date USGA handicap not exceeding 17.4 under the USGA Handicap System. Field is limited to 144 entrants. Priority will be given to 2013 Fort Lewis Amateur competitors and Past Champions-all others on first come, first served basis. GHIN Handicap Revision dtd 29 April 2014 will be used for this event. Amateur Status: All players must conform with the USGA Rules of Amateur Status as specified in the Rules of Golf. Entry Fee: $140.00 includes green fees, range balls, meal and tee gifts. Entry Deadline: Tuesday, 29 April 2014. Refunds will not be processed after 29 April 2014. Starting Times: Starting times will be available on Wednesday April 30, 2014. Competitiors may call the Proshop at Eagles Pride Golf Course JBLM (253-967-6522) for their starting time. Competitors are responsible for knowing teir starting tee and time. Purse: The Tournament Purse will be based on field size and posted at the Official Scoreboard. |
| 9th Annual J.W. Mitchell High School Golf Tourney | 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM | The Mitchell Boy’s Golf Team is hosting a fund-raiser golf tournament at Fox Hollow Golf Club in New Port Richey on Sunday, May 4, 2014. Registration begins at 12:00 p.m. with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Format is a four-person scramble. Cost is only $ 90 and includes cart fee, greens fee, range balls, tee gifts, on course contests, door prizes, and awards dinner immediately following the round. Put together a foursome and pay only $320. This is a fundraising event and different play levels are welcomed. Sponsorships opportunities are on page 2. Proceeds will benefit the Mitchell Boy’s Golf Team. Please make checks payable to “ Mitchell Boy’s Golf” and mail to Coach Rick Hyatt, 1827 Kinsmere Drive, Trinity, FL 34655.
