| The 2014 Veterans Golf Classic | 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM | Just two weeks remain on the early entry rate for past participants! Be sure to sign up for the Veteran's Golf Classic by March 24th at 5PM EST to ensure an entry fee of $240 for past participants. Entries for the 15th Annual Veterans Golf Classic keep coming in and well ahead of schedule! We've already had 350 players secure their spot. Entry is limited to the first 460 players. Singles are welcome and will be paired by the tournament staff. Entry fee for 2014 is only $240 for past players (when entering before March 25th) and $260 for new players. WELCOME! | 3rd Annual Match Play | 1:00 AM to 12:00 AM | Welcome to the 2014 Match Play – Presented by Semiahmoo Resort & Spa Welcome to the 3rd Annual Northwest Matchplay Championship, this year presented by Semiahmoo Resort & Spa and produced by the Seattle Golf & Travel Show. Over the past two years this tournament has generated more than 300 rounds of golf played at golf courses throughout the greater Seattle & Western Washington region. We are thrilled to be playing our championship this year at two of the best courses the state has to offer: Semiahmoo and Loomis Trail, both of which are traditionally placed on the state’s Top 10 Courses list. The registration, rules and prizing information is contained within this website – but should you have questions, you are always welcome to email our tournament headquarters by filling in the contact sheet at the bottom of the website. Schedule MATCH SCHEDULING Prior to the start of the 2014 MatchPlay Championship, each of the registered players will receive a contact list containing the names and contact info of the rest of the players in the field. This will allow the players themselves to set up their own matches. Each match has 30 days in which to be played, beginning with the opening match set for June. It is up to each of you to determine in agreement with that month’s opponent, when and where the match will be played. (PLEASE PRINT THE ATTACHED RULES PDF AND HAVE WITH YOU DURING EACH MATCH). Upon completion of the match, please email the results to us here at Cascadia Events. We will advance the winner on the bracket provided again this year through Challonge.com – and a link to our specific event will be added once the full roster of players are signed up. Here is a sample of how the first two months of matches will be scheduled. Please note that the length of the championship depends on the total number of signups. But we do expect our championship matches to be in either October or November. They accumulate throughout the championship.
