| Rancho Santa Margarita Amateur Championship | 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM | The Rancho Santa Margarita Amateur Championship was created in 2003 here at Tijeras Creek Golf Club. This "Gross only" event is held each year on the last weekend of February. We believe the RSM Amateur will serve as a great start to your season and will be professionally conducted for amateur golfers looking to test their game against a perennially strong field. Former competitors include Max Homa, Beau Hossler, Cameron Tringale, Stewart Hagestad, Ricky Castillo, Sahith Theegala and KK Limbahasut. Competitors play in threesomes and is spaced out to ensure 4 hour rounds which is rare for local amateur events and we pride ourselves in making this happen.
