| 8th Annual Super Sunday Shoot Out 2015@Heron Lakes | 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM | "Super Sunday Shootout" Sunday Feb. 1st | Shotgun Start @10am Registration closes Jan. 28th Please join us for the 8th Annual "Super Sunday Shootout" at Heron Lakes Golf Course. The event is a 2-Player Shamble and tees off at 10AM with a shotgun start. All players are welcome to stay for lunch and prizes and to watch the "Big Game" in the Clubhouse. 18-Hole Shamble, Greenback Course, 10:00 AM Shotgun $100 per 2-player team Entry fee includes golf, range, prizes and lunch buffet Golf Carts are available but not included with entry fee Teams will be separated into two flights for players with official handicaps and those without Prizes for gross and net winners in each flight FORMAT & DETAILS 18 Hole Shotgun on the Greenback Golf Course. 2-Player Shamble format. (Shamble format combines elements of a scramble with elements of best ball format: Each team member will tee off, and the best ball of the two tee shots is selected. From this point, each team member will play their own ball into the hole). The better score between the two partners will be taken as the "team score" on each hole. ELIGIBILITY The field will be limited to the first 70 teams to enter. Please inlcude the name of both players and if available, their respective GHIN numbers on the registration page. If one or both players do not have an official USGA GHIN number, please include an average score or estimated handicap for that player on the registration page. STARTING TIME Check in is 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM, Shotgun start at 10:00 AM sharp. ENTRY FEE The entry fee is $100 per team. Any team wishing to pay via cash or check may do so in person at the Pro Shop. Refunds are NOT available after the closing date of January 28th, 2015. INCLUSIONS & PRIZES Green Fees, range balls, prizes and post-tournament lunch buffet are included. Gross and Net prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each flight. Players with GHIN handicaps will be in seperate flights from those without. In the event of a tie, a scorecard playoff will determine the winners (both gross and net). NOTE: Carts are not included with the entry fee for this event. If you wish to reserve a cart please select "yes" on the registration page. Normal cart fees will apply, and are payable on the day of the event. OPTIONAL PAYBALL GAME $20 per team Payball, split 50/50 for gross and net in each flight. Payball fees will be collected at check-in. |

Each member will use 70% of their current handicap HANDICAP REQUIREMENTS The tournament will be conducted using the USGA Slope Handicap System. Entrants’ handicap indexes will be used to establish a daily handicap based on the USGA slope rating of the course played along with the respective daily team format. Participants will submit their USGA Handicap or international equivalent via electronic form beginning on January 15, 2015. Tournament staff will use that factor to flight each team and all handicaps will be based on that information. If a participant’s handicap index for any reason is not an accurate reflection of the participants playing ability, it is THEIR responsibility to notify tournament officials prior to the event. A valid USGA handicap reflects all golf scores regardless of the course or conditions (as long as the round was played under the Rules of Golf), and must be formulated according to the guidelines established by the USGA. Any unusual posting procedures, such as ceasing to post scores for a period leading up to the event, may be grounds for adjustments or disqualification. The Handicap Committee reserves the right to adjust a participant’s index prior to or during the event. All participants are required to notify a tournament official of any handicap changes prior to the event and after verification forms are returned. A difference of .1 in your index can result in one more or less strokes on a given day. Please ensure that the handicap provided is accurate to the decimal place. Women will be allowed a handicap index up to 40.4 and men up to 36.4 as per the USGA policy.register now green HANDICAP MONITORING Any participant found, at any time, to be using a fraudulent handicap will be expelled from the tournament and all fees will be forfeited. CANCELLATIONS The Preseason Classic will refund any participant that may cancel between their date of entry and January 14, 2015 minus a $25 cancellation fee. Any cancellation received after January 14, 2015 and before 5:00 PM EST on February 1, 2015 will be refunded, minus a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after 5:00 PM EST on February 1, 2015 will not be refunded any of their entry fee. All cancellations must be in writing and sent to the Tournament staff either by email or by direct mail. REFUNDS DUE TO WEATHER No refunds or exchanges will be made if the tournament is canceled or shortened due to weather or nature. One completed round constitutes a tournament. RULES OF PLAY The USGA Rules of Golf will govern play. Local rules at each course will apply. The Tournament Committee will resolve all disputes regarding every aspect of tournament play.
