We, The Dropping Committee, are proud to invite you to apply for entry into the 47th Annual John Dropping Invitational Junior Championship at BanBury Golf Course. The dates are June 8th, 9th and 10th, 2014.

BanBury is a premier public golf course in the Northwest, - consistently ranking in the top courses to play in Idaho. The course has hosted the 2005-USGA Girls Junior Championship, 2012-Junior America's Cup, 2006- PNGA Senior Championship, 2004-IGA State Amateur, and the annual Eagle Amateur.


Tournament eligibility is limited to boys and girls who are at least 14 years old and not older than 18 years old. 19 year old must not be more than 1 month removed from high school graduation. Boys must have a USGA index of 5.0 or less and girls 10.0 or less. The following criteria will be used to select participants: USGA handicap index Qualifying and competing in National Junior Events, (USGA, PGA, AJGA, etc.) Performance in past state events, (IGA, IHSAA) Other tournament successes Past participation in the Dropping Invitational - See more at: banburygolf.com

2014 Dropping Championship at BanBury GC - Boys Division Handicap Limit of a 5.0 -- June 9 - 10, 2014

Format: Stroke Play
Starting time: Day 1 (36): 7:30am Shotgun, Day 2 (18): 8:00am TT (1st and 10th)
Tees Played: Blue Tees (5900 yards)
Eligibility: Entries are open to female and male amateur golfers who
(1) have reached their fourteenth birthday by June 8, 2014;
(2) will not have reached their nineteenth birthday by midnight (MST) June 10, 2014;
(3) will not have graduated from high school by midnight (MST) May 9, 2014; and
(4) have an up-to-date Handicap Index® not exceeding 5.0 for males under the USGA Handicap System.

Note: If you DO NOT have an active GHIN number, please contact the Idaho Junior Golf Department at 208.342.4442 to register for this event. You will still need to meet the handicap eligibility requirements.

Players should contact their BanBury Golf Course after June 1st, 2014 for tee times. Tee times will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis.

Tuesday, June 10th

Final Round
