Description

FORMAT: In four-ball match play, two players play their better ball against the better ball of the two other players.

STIPULATIONS: All matches will be net matches and must be played at The Home Course. Once the teams decide which tees they will play, all players will play from the same tee. Female players can play from the gold tees and a handicap adjustment must be made. Teams will agree upon tees and handicaps before a match starts.

DATE: The deadline for posting results for each of the rounds of match play are as follows:
• 1st round, January 12th - February 1st
• 2nd round, February 2nd - February 22nd
• 3rd round, February 23rd - March, 15th
• Semifinals, March 16th - April 5th
• Finals, April 6th - April 26th

Matches must be played head-to-head by the due date or both teams will be disqualified, unless an exception is granted by Tournament Director (i.e. extended course closure). Please be sure that you will be in town and able to play during this time period. If the teams can't agree on which tees to play, then the match will be from the Blue/White Combo Tees.

TIME: All matches will be scheduled by the participants. When making a tee time please notify the golf shop that you will be playing your match.


ENTRIES DUE: January 5th 2015. The tournament bracket will be emailed to all participants by January 9th and will be determined by random draw.


HANDICAPS: Handicaps and the tees being played will be agreed upon by the competitors before the match. Having a current handicap for the entire tournament is required. If your handicap goes inactive, you will play to a 0 handicap until it is reactivated.
