| THE NATIONAL PRO AM | 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM | Offer Valid: Mar 5 - March 9, 2017 "Serious Golf…Serious Competition" PGA club professionals* from all across the U.S., along with three of their members, will tee it up during the 18th Annual Kiawah Island Golf Resort National Pro-Am. The 72-hole stroke play event, sponsored by Club Car, will be held on four of Kiawah Island Golf Resort's championship courses: Pete Dye's world-famous Ocean Course, Clyde Johnston's Oak Point, Jack Nicklaus's Turtle Point (newly renovated) and Tom Fazio's Osprey Point. The tournament format includes four-man best ball gross and net, as well as professional stroke play. Prizes are awarded to the top net and gross amateur teams and professionals also compete for a separate purse. Players will use 75% of their USGA handicap, with a maximum Course Handicap of 18 allowed. PGA Professionals may bring up to six amateurs. The professional's score will be used for each 3 man team. Note: USGA handicaps are required. The Ocean Course is walking only. Caddies available upon request. It is important that all players understand the new USGA Rule, 14-1b Anchoring the Club, will be in effect and adhered to during this competition.
