| 51st Annual Lilac City Invititational | 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM | Date: 2014-07-10 - 2014-07-13 The Fairways Golf Course is hosting the 51st Annual Lilac City Invitational this July 10th-13th. Founded by PGA Professional Joe Durgan in 1960, the Lilac is widely recognized as one of the premier competitive regional golf events for professionals and amateurs in the Pacific Northwest. It’s list of competitors has included current and former PGA Tour professionals Kirk Triplett, Don Bies, Rod Funseth, and Pat Fitzsimmons, mini tour pro’s from the Canadian, Pepsi, Cascade, and Spanos tours, PGA club professionals, elite collegiate golfers, and amateurs from as far away as Phoenix, AZ. The Lilac is one of the very few if not only remaining 72 hole golf tournaments in the country outside of the major professional tours.
